COME HELP BUILD A BETTER ROCKPORT

Our company is very interested in the growth of Spencer county and especially Rockport.  It is the county Seat.  We have a beautiful courthouse, and we are on the beautiful Ohio river.  It could be such an asset for Rockport. 

We need to promote the river, and try to get the riverfront fixed so that people can drive down and see what a beautiful spot it is.  Rockport can never be a retail city again as it once was.  With Owensboro, and Evansville so near and with so many more shopping facilities than we could ever have, but we coiuld be a town similar to Newburgh.  We could have gift shops, antique shops, coffee  shops, any type of business that would bring people to our city.  We have the park and the Lincoln Pioneer Village that many people would like to see.  With the new highway and more people coming through Spoencer County we need to have something to pull them off of the highway and into Rockport.  It will take a lot of work from a lot of people but it can be done.

Join the Spencer County Regional Chamber of Commerce and the ABR (Association for Better Rockport) so that we can get this job done.
